Artful soulful guide to cali The watercolor is superb. His writing is soulful. Bought for my son in southern Oregon. I only hope his art will be published in a larger format book so I can take in the incredible beauty in my relaxing time back in Pennsylvania.Five Stars The most beautiful book I've ever owned.Fabulous Guide What an amazing book....it is hard to imagine accomplishing this in a lifetime. It is hard to classify this book . . . it is more of a meta-field guide than field guide per se. It can help orient your approach to studying a given California ecosystem, as opposed to covering each and every ecosystem in great detail. The illustrations alone are worth the price of the book.
