Kohei Horikoshi was born in Aichi, Japan, in 1986. He received a Tezuka Award Honorable Mention in 2006, and after publishing several short stories in Akamaru Jump, his first serialized work In Weekly Shonen Jump was Oumagadoki Doubutsuen in 2010. My Hero Academia is his third series in Weekly Shonen Jump.

Thrilling This volume was really intense. Characters new and old test their limits in thrilling new ways as a threat grows stronger.First time reader I got into My Hero Academia after seeing a short clip on Funimation's Facebook page. I became hooked on the anime and season 2 ended I just had to get into reading the manga (especially after a couple of YouTube reviews if the anime and manga). The illustration is amazing and the storytelling is awesome. I like the use of bird's eye view to further help with understanding what is going on as well notes on characters. (There are a lot of characters nd their quirks to remember.) The only other manga I've read was Attack on Titans.Awesome! Awesome volume manga. I do recommend it. 😁
