Independent. Almost smothering. But when they get together, holy smokes Batman! It's totally on! I liked Dom and Allie together. Their relationship was on fire. The mirror scene was off the hook, hella hot! I was concerned we wouldn't get a glimpse of Dom's life but after an unexpected turn, we did. We got a mini preview. But it was just enough. We got to see him work. We got to see the bad wolf in action. I was glad to see Maggie (Dirty Deeds) had a cameo appearance. But this book is 100% independent from the rest of the Dirty series. You don't need to read the rest to enjoy this one. But I'd highly recommend them. You'll get so much more enjoyment. But it's not necessary.This book was aggressive yet subdue. If that is possible. It had so many things going on. I have no idea where to start. But it was written well. The dialogue was spot on. Their relationship was well played. I truly enjoyed this book. It was an honor to include this in my library.
