Raccoonus Interruptus is priceless Pippa Grant does it again, and this time with Lili Valente. I'm a little ashamed to admit this is only my 3rd Lili book, and after I post this I'm going to be loading up my tbr list with her. The story revolves around a sister, Cassie, who comes to town to take over running Savannah's Sex toy Factory, only Cassie is still a virgin and out of her comfort zone. Yes there's plenty of sex toy humor through out the book. Ryan is the childhood crush that is back and hotter than ever as the town firefighter and neighbor with a pet raccoon, George Cooney, that has so many antics you can't help but laugh out loud and think, "I want a George in my life". The small town antics in Happy Cat are just as cute as you can imagine a small town to be. This book is funny, cute, with a touch of a mystery and will have you smiling from the title of chapter one, all the way through until you download the bonus Epilogue!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ FLOVE this book!Last night at work I had a couple of hours to kill while systems and programs updated. My immediate thought was, "what do I want to read?". Honestly, though I have almost 4000 books in my Kindle library, I couldn't think of anything I wanted to read that I hadn't already. I figured I'd browse my options and just pick something. I can't even express accurately my level of excitement at seeing Hosed at the top of the list, having totally forgotten about pre-ordering it. I have read several books by Lili Valente, and everything from Pippa Grant (she may or may not be my author crush 😊). Together, this dynamic writing duo did not disappoint.Before I made it through the first chapter, I had tears running down my face from laughing so hard. Ryan and Cassie are cute and steamy and so much fun. The secondary characters are quirky and hysterical, and add to the crazy mayhem that unfolds from the very first page.These authors pulled out all the stops. I was laughing and crying and experiencing all kinds of feels. I loved how the story played out, though I would have been overjoyed to see the sheep lover get slapped a little harder by karma...but that's just me.I'm really hoping to see stories revolving around at least five of the characters in Hosed, and George Cooney needs a recurring role...and why isn't dildo football a real thing? Or is it? I need to Google it. 😉My only regret with reading this was the timing. I really should not have started reading this with only a couple of hours available. I was saddened to have to put it down and actually go back to work. 😁Do yourself a favor and 1-click Hosed...and for the love of all that is holy, make sure you have enough time, because you will not want to put it down.This must go on your TO BE READ LIST! This book brings the heat and the sweet. Wow, what a duo these authors make! I so very much enjoyed the classic hilarity and snark of a great Pippa Grant book along with the sweet and spicy talents of Lili Valente. This book was such a marriage of all my favorite things. All this fun starts out in a quiet southern town that is up in arms about a sex toy factory’s presence in their neighborhood. Cassie is the shy gamer girl that has to return to the town where she grew up to help straighten out her sister’s crazy life. She is completely out of her element when she is asked to step in and run her sister’s factory. To make matter’s worse, she finds that her neighbor is the boy that crushed her heart in high school. Ryan is not a boy anymore, but a hot firefighter now, and is determined to make her his. Complete with a crime fighting raccoon, and an explosion of sex toys, the story will melt your heart and your panties all at the same time. This is the perfect read for a cold winter day.

We got to see him work. We got to see the bad wolf in action. I was glad to see Maggie (Dirty Deeds) had a cameo appearance. But this book is 100% independent from the rest of the Dirty series. You don't need to read the rest to enjoy this one. But I'd highly recommend them. You'll get so much more enjoyment. But it's not necessary.This book was aggressive yet subdue. If that is possible. It had so many things going on. I have no idea where to start. But it was written well. The dialogue was spot on. Their relationship was well played. I truly enjoyed this book. It was an honor to include this in my library.

Unlike Chip and Jo, we do have a television. However, we have no cable. So I slowly got to know Chip and Jo and my husband and I came to enjoy the spirit of the show and the beautiful designs. When I saw this book I hesitated. Would knowing the back story diminish my view of this couple? Were they really as down to earth as they appeared? If you have similar doubts I'd like to put your mind at east. The Chip and Jo you've come to love on television are even more amazing when you read their story. They have shared some very personal setbacks that shaped who they are as people. I am even more in awe of this company the two of them have created because they are so passionate about it and so, so passionate about people. They truly serve others.If you are looking for an uplifting way to start 2017 prepare to be inspired, energized and have all those warm fuzzies with this book. You will love it.Boring I loved the Fixer Upper TV show but found this book to be rather self-congratulatory and boring. Sorry if I'm wrong.Authentic, inspiring Watching Fixer Upper, they seem so successful and put together. But they were not afraid to share stories of failures, change and adaptation. Almost going bankrupt with 4 kids in tow is a big deal for anyone to struggle with. At the same time, they share stories of kindness, generosity from strangers, generosity to strangers, the belief that God has a plan, the belief that helping that one person in a small way may have life changing consequences for that person and for the giver. An overall inspiring book without any “preaching”. The take away? Be not afraid to take risks, work hard, try harder, believe in your dreams, believe in the dreams of your partner, but through all that do not forget love, joy, peace and laughter.
